Celebrate Sensation, a two song musical theatre EP in celebration of David Compton, my friend, my dad, and my mentor, on his birthday.

Beginning in 2007, David and I dreamed of someday performing the musical The Fantasticks together, a dream I couldn't let go. I am honored to give you a portion of the show here,"Much More," featuring him. Thanks to Wirebird Productions and Brett Ryan Stewart, the audio of David has been restored from an iphone recording I made of him in 2010. He adored this show, and with the permission of his family, I am overjoyed to bring it to you. It's an honor to perform with him again.

I've paired "Much More" with "Love Makes The World Go Round," from Carnival. It is also a favorite show of mine, bringing to life a world of puppetry built by Nashvillian Tom Tichenor. My dear friend Brian Hull introduced me to this world 12 years ago, and I have had the great honor of performing with the original puppets on multiple occasions, including in the music video for this song. This recording features the voices of Brett Ryan Stewart as Horrible Henry the Walrus and Anana Kaye as Carrot Top the clown. Here's to the things that make you feel magical; confetti, coffee, Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood, ballet, a child holding your hand, balloons, puppets, dear friends, petticoats, cursive, the smell of an old book, the sound of a harp, the glimmer of tinsel.
